PEACEMAKER MESSAGE SERIES
STARTS MAY 15
Think about the last 6 months of your life.
You could probably think of people in your family, your school, or your workplace who are having difficulty resolving some sort of conflict in their lives.
Conflict is an opportunity for believers in Christ to draw on God’s mercy and strength in order to respond to confrontation and disputes with wisdom and grace. God calls His children to become PeaceMakers. A PeaceMaker focuses on God in the midst of conflict by breathing in His grace, seeking His leadership, and relying on His moment-to-moment wisdom to build, restore and reconcile with those around us.
In this series we will look closer at 6 Steps for Renewing Relationships and Dealing with Conflict:
1. DEVOTION (children of God devote themselves to peace)
2. REFLECTION (self-awareness in conflict)
3. CONFESSION (personal accountability in conflict)
4. CONNECTION (WWJD to connect, if, when & how we confront)
5. RECONCILIATION (dealing with forgiveness and unforgiveness)
6. RESTORATION (ways to renew relationships that have maybe gone sour or you feel are falling apart or even better -- they are strong and you want them to be stronger).
Join us in this series at Sundays at The Grove and you will learn how be a PeaceMaker wherever God leads you!
