Sister, you are invited to join us for a weekend of community, worship, fellowship, prayer and studying God’s Word – right here at Cedar Grove!
Who am I really? and what is this ‘good work in me’ all about?
Our speaker, Vicki Doubroff will help us explore these questions of identity and purpose learning from the lives of some of the women Jesus encountered.
It is our prayer that you will be able to get away, come, rest and learn with us and that this retreat would be refreshing and strengthening for all of us.

Speaker Bio
Vicki Doubroff
Vicki was born and raised in Victoria, B.C. She grew up going to church and loved being involved, especially if it included music or coffee! After high school she attended a Bible school in Chicago where she met Phil, and they’ve just celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary.
Seasons of life have led them to North Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, and now Maple Ridge where they share a house with their son Jason, Carolyn, and grandkids Zeke, Tegan and Elisha.
Their daughter Lauren, husband Josh, Mila, Luka and JJ live in Lubbock, Texas and this is where Vicki is grateful for Airmiles!
Her work resume includes: bank teller, receptionist, grocery store cashier, office manager and dear to her heart - Worship and Women’s pastor, here at Cedar Grove for 9 years. Her life’s mission statement is: ‘To encourage, inspire and motivate others to walk in freedom’. Whether that involves leading worship, teaching a bible study, or having coffee with a friend, this is what she understands to be how God created her, and how His purposes are revealed in her life…. And she’s excited to help you see how God is at work in YOUR life!!

Larissa Nelson
Larissa is in her early 30s, is married to Trenton, works as a teacher and has one cute rabbit named ‘Cheerio’ and also a recent rescue named ‘Silver’ (she said ”feel free to leave this out if you want haha.” but's too cute to leave out :D)
Melodie Bautista
I’m married to a great man of God and have 2 amazing boys. All our names start with “M” (even our dogs). I work as an Operating Room nurse at Surrey Memorial and in my free time, I love spending time with family in the outdoors.
