Peanut Butter with a Purpose — Help Us Nourish Our Community
Monday Morning Ministry has always been an outlet for us at Cedar Grove to support the beautiful community we’re proudly part of here in Surrey. With the unwavering support of Surrey Food Bank, Cityreach Society, Cobs Bread, and generous private donors, we serve 65 to 85 households each week—reaching a registered community of nearly 200 families, which includes more than 580 individuals.
While we’re deeply grateful for the food God provides through these partnerships, we’ve identified a growing need for protein-rich items among the food donations we receive each week. Volunteers from our Monday Morning Ministry have noted that many families would benefit from more nutritional balance in their meals.
That’s where you come in. We’re calling on our church family, friends, and neighbors to join us in meeting this need—with just one simple, yet mighty, contribution.
Buy an extra jar of peanut butter when you shop for groceries :)
