Lord, as we begin this Christmas season, our lives are noisy. There are lights and lists, shopping carts and schedules, notifi cations and obligations. The world around us is competing for our attention with fl ashing screens and urgent deadlines. And yet, in the middle of all the commotion, You are speaking — sometimes like a trumpet blast that shakes the heavens, sometimes like a whisper that only the quiet heart can hear.
