God is so generous, and in our love and adoration of him we can't help but be the same in return. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.
Restricted Donation Policy
The Church gratefully accepts donations designated for specific ministries, programs, projects, or funds approved by the Board/Overseers.
When a donor makes a contribution for a particular approved purpose, the Church will make every reasonable effort to use the funds as designated. All restricted gifts are received with the understanding that such gifts are made to the Church and not to any individual.
The Church retains full control, authority, and discretion over all donated funds in order to comply with the requirements of the Canada Revenue Agency and applicable charitable laws. Contributions designated for an approved program or project will be used for that purpose whenever possible.
Should the specified ministry, program, project, or fund be completed, discontinued, oversubscribed, or no longer require the donated funds, the Church's Board/Overseers reserves the right to redirect the remaining funds to a similar ministry or to the area of greatest need within the Church's charitable purposes.
Donations are receipted in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency regulations. Tax receipts will not be issued for gifts directed to a specific individual or where the donor retains control over the use of the funds.
By making a restricted donation, the donor acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this policy.
